This year I am running in my first half marathon and running for the Blind Foundation. This organisation provides support to people who have lost their sight. I am inspired by what they do and the immense effort they put into providing strategies to help a blind person to improve their quality of life. One of my friends is blind and she is such an inspiration to all of us, seeing her with a guide dog by her side and the support she has is just amazing. I know how hard it is to make sure the guide dogs are fit to support a Blind Person. So a little bit of time taken out to raise money will go a long way to make sure these people can enjoy their life even more.
